Situation
A large plant network had grown over years: a core switch with more than twenty managed access switches, FortiGate and SonicWall firewalls, a UPS, network printers, and cameras spread across production areas.
The site team had no single view of what was connected where.
What was done
The VEMIO collector was installed on an existing Windows PC on site, with no new hardware.
The Vinay Enterprises NOC monitors the site remotely from Ahmedabad over a secure connection.
Outcomes
VEMIO found and classified the plant's switches, firewalls, UPS and printers, and roughly 250 IP cameras. The camera count was more than twice what the site team expected in the new camera range.
Cameras are mapped to the switch ports they hang off.
All cameras were licensed for monitoring in two clicks with bulk licensing.
Device alerts open tickets automatically and close them when the device recovers.
The collector has updated itself across many releases without a site visit.
